After facilitating numerous ‘Values Refresh’ sessions with our clients, we felt it was time to turn the mirror on ourselves! We took some time out of our day to complete a series of exercises to ideate, collate and then finalise our core team values.
The intention behind doing this was to collectively agree on the behaviours that are important to our team and the way we do things. As we’ve gotten bigger as an organisation, we were conscious that what worked when we were smaller may now need a refresh.
Having values is important as a business to create a shared sense of belonging and commitment to the work. It’s not just about the work itself, it’s about how we go about getting it done. An organisation’s employee experience informs it’s customer experience, so having an aligned team creates better commercial outcomes.
